One of the best ways to get into the Christmas spirit while getting some holiday shopping done is to visit a Christmas market!

I’ve got to tell you that Christmas markets have a special place in my heart. Emily and I used to own a little boutique and we traveled from market to market as vendors during the season! It was a lot of work, but SO much fun.

Arkansas has holiday markets all over the state, from large boutique shows with hundreds of vendors to smaller artisan markets filled with handmade gifts.

You can shop for Christmas décor, clothing, jewelry, gourmet foods, vintage finds, pottery, artwork, handmade crafts, and plenty of gifts that you probably won’t find at the mall.

I’ve arranged these Arkansas Christmas markets by date to make it easier to plan your holiday shopping.

Glitz & Garland (Benton)

Glitz & Garland is a popular holiday shopping event held at the Benton Event Center. This one is near where I live so it’s one we attend every year.

You’ll find boutiques and vendors selling clothing, gifts, accessories, Christmas décor, food items, and more. The three-day event also includes special shopping sessions, including Girls Night Out and VIP shopping.

Mistletoe Market (Russellville)

I have to confess that the Mistletoe Market in Russellville is one of my favorites. When my daughter and I owned the boutique this was absolutely our favorite market. The shoppers and other vendors were always so nice and friendly.

I recommend it as a fun way to start your Christmas shopping.

The market benefits the Boys & Girls Clubs of the Arkansas River Valley and typically includes more than 50 vendors.

Northwest Arkansas Holiday Market (Springdale)

The Northwest Arkansas Holiday Market turns the NWA Convention Center into a huge holiday shopping destination.

Around 150 vendors bring gifts, décor, clothing, jewelry, gourmet foods, health and beauty products, and much more.

Even better, the admission fee benefits the Children’s Safety Center.

Arkansas River Holiday Market (Fort Smith)

The Arkansas River Holiday Market is a one-day Christmas shopping event in Fort Smith.

It’s a great place to knock out some of your Christmas shopping while supporting vendors and small businesses. You’ll find a variety of gifts, crafts, clothing, food items, holiday décor, and more.

Downtown Christmas Market (Harrison)

If you prefer your Christmas markets outdoors, head to downtown Harrison for the Downtown Christmas Market.

Held around the historic courthouse square, this market focuses on makers and producers and is held in conjunction with Harrison’s annual holiday shop-local celebration.

It’s a nice opportunity to shop from local artisans while also spending some time exploring downtown Harrison.

Mistletoe Market (El Dorado)

El Dorado’s Mistletoe Market is a holiday shopping event filled with boutiques, handmade goods, gourmet foods, clothing, jewelry, gifts, health and beauty products, and more.

It is held at the Murphy Arts District Music Hall in downtown El Dorado, making it easy to combine some Christmas shopping with time exploring downtown.

Mountains & Mistletoe Holiday Market (Mountain View)

Mountains & Mistletoe brings a fun holiday market to Mountain View each November.

The market features a mix of artists, artisans, crafters, boutiques, junkers, upcyclers, and other vendors.

If you enjoy finding gifts that are a little different from what you’ll see in traditional stores, this is a fun one to check out.

Mistletoe Market (Texarkana)

The Junior League of Texarkana’s Mistletoe Market is one of the larger Christmas shopping events in southwest Arkansas.

In addition to plenty of vendors and holiday shopping, the multi-day event typically includes special shopping events and activities.

Northwest Arkansas Boutique Show (Rogers)

The Northwest Arkansas Boutique Show is one of the biggest holiday shopping events in the state.

More than 185 carefully selected merchants come together at the Rogers Convention Center for two days of shopping.

You can find boutique clothing, jewelry, gifts, children’s items, home décor, gourmet foods, handmade goods, Arkansas products, and much more.

Jacksonville Holiday Craft & Gift Sale (Jacksonville)

The Jacksonville Holiday Craft & Gift Sale has been an Arkansas holiday tradition for almost 50 years.

The show features original artwork and handmade goods from Arkansas artists and other regional vendors, including woodwork, paintings, jewelry, Christmas décor, and more.

Admission is inexpensive, and you can even receive free admission with the donation of an unopened toy.

CraftFest (Mountain Home)

CraftFest in Mountain Home isn’t technically called a Christmas market, but its November show is timed perfectly for holiday shopping.

This long-running arts and crafts show dates back to 1963 and focuses on handcrafted items rather than mass-produced or resale merchandise.

With around 95 booth spaces, there should be plenty of unique gifts to browse.

Bella Rustina Oh What Fun Christmas Market (Conway)

If you love big markets, Bella Rustina’s Oh What Fun Christmas Market definitely belongs on your list.

More than 350 booths fill the Conway Expo & Event Center and its open-air pavilion with vintage finds, handmade items, boutique clothing and accessories, Christmas décor, and plenty of other gifts.

There will also be food trucks, snacks, and visits with Santa and Mrs. Claus on Friday and Saturday.

Lit’l Bita Christmas (Jonesboro)

Lit’l Bita Christmas has grown into one of the largest arts and crafts shows in Northeast Arkansas and the Mid-South.

The annual show is held inside First National Bank Arena on the Arkansas State University campus and draws thousands of shoppers looking for handmade crafts, Christmas decorations, gifts, artwork, and more.

The event also helps support student-athlete scholarships at Arkansas State.

Winter Market of NWA (Bentonville)

The Winter Market of NWA is perfectly timed for anyone who would rather shop small than fight the Black Friday crowds at the mall.

Instead of mass-produced gifts, you’ll find high-quality handcrafted items made by resident and guest artisans throughout the Craft Village.

The Ozark Folk Center is dedicated to preserving traditional Ozark crafts, so this is an especially good market for finding a meaningful Arkansas-made Christmas gift.

This annual Fayetteville market features fine art and handmade goods created by Northwest Arkansas artists and makers.

It’s a particularly good place to look for pottery, jewelry, fiber art, glass, prints, soaps, woodwork, and other handmade gifts.

Arkansas Craft Guild Christmas Showcase (Little Rock)

The Arkansas Craft Guild Christmas Showcase is one of the best Christmas markets in Arkansas if you are looking specifically for high-quality handmade gifts.

This juried show features Guild members and guest artists working in pottery, wood, stained glass, jewelry, sculpture, photography, fiber art, leather, home décor, and many other mediums.

The 2026 event will be the 48th annual Christmas Showcase.

Mistletoe Kisses Market (Hot Springs)

Mistletoe Kisses Market brings two exhibit halls of vendors to the Hot Springs Convention Center for a late-season Christmas shopping weekend.

In addition to general shopping hours, the market includes special events such as a Friday evening Ladies Night and Saturday morning Muffins & Mimosas shopping session.

This is a good option if December arrives and you still have some Christmas shopping left to do!
