Little Rock is not only my home, but, in my opinion, it is also an excellent place for visitors!
The city has a great blend of nature, urban activities, great restaurants, and historical sites. There are also a wide variety of accommodations and hotels in Little Rock.

Best Hotels in Little Rock, Arkansas
Best For Those Seeking History and Luxury: The Capital Hotel
You simply can’t talk about the best hotels in Little Rock, Arkansas without mentioning The Capital Hotel. It is a stunning and historic hotel that is, in many ways, the drawing room of Little Rock.
Even though my husband and I live in Little Rock we like to stay at the Capital Hotel for special occasion getaways such as our anniversary.
I am completely in love with this hotel. The rooms are lovely, spacious, and comfortable and the service is beyond compare. As you might expect from a luxury hotel there is also excellent room service.
The Capitol Bar and Grill, located just off the hotel lobby, is a perfect place for a drink and a bite to eat. Plus breakfast at the other onsite restaurant, One Eleven, is superb.
The only thing that some people might not like is that you will need to valet park when staying in this downtown location.
The Capital Hotel is conveniently located to everything in downtown Little Rock. In our opinion, this is simply the best hotel in Little Rock.
A Hidden Gem in West Little Rock: The Burgundy Hotel
The Burgundy Hotel is another one of the best places to stay in Little Rock. It is located in west Little Rock and is part of the Tapestry Collection by Hilton.
It was the first boutique hotel in west Little Rock and is in the heart of the business district of this area of town. It is a great place for both business travelers and tourists.
For outdoor recreation the hotel is only 10 minutes from Pinnacle Mountain State Park and the Arkansas River Trail system. So hiking, biking and nature are all in close proximity.
Shoppers will love that this hotel is also near The Promenade at Chenal and Pleasant Ridge Town Center.
At the Burgundy hotel you can swim in the outdoor pool, sit by the fire-pit, and enjoy Table 28, which is an award-winning restaurant serving new American cuisine.
The hotel may look a little plain from the outside, but don’t let that fool you.
This is rated the best hotel in Little Rock by Trip Advisor for good reason! It is a gem with great service and nice, comfortable rooms. Also, because it is in west Little Rock there will be free parking without the need to use a valet.
Easy Access to Everything and Near Area Hospitals: The Four Points by Sheraton Little Rock Midtown
The Four Points by Sheraton has an extremely convenient location in the middle of everything.
It is located right off of the Interstate on University Avenue.
This location is only minutes from the University of Arkansas in Little Rock as well as some of the major hospitals in town. You will be close to St. Vincent Hospital, UAMS, and Arkansas Children’s Hospital.
If you are traveling with children the hotel is also close to the Little Rock Zoo. In addition this location makes it very easy to either head downtown or into West Little Rock.
They even have a complimentary shuttle service within a 5-mile radius which would get you to some of the great restaurants in the Heights and Hillcrest area.

For Those Attending an Event at Robinson Auditorium or the State House Convention Center: Little Rock Mariott
The Little Rock Marriott is a one of the premiere hotels in Little Rock. It is a 4-star hotel located downtown. It connects to the State House Convention Center and is only a very short walk from the Robinson Auditorium.
In addition it is close to many other restaurants and attractions in the River Market District of downtown Little Rock including the old State House Museum.
Although this is a great place for leisure travelers, it is also perfect for business conventions, meetings, and conferences due to the multiple event spaces and meeting rooms.
This is a large hotel with 418 rooms. It has deluxe amenities such as a fully equipped fitness center and the Heritage Grille Steak and Fin restaurant.
Do be aware that there is an extra charge for parking and it is valet only.
Best For Those Wanting a Suite and Kitchenette: Home2 Suites by Hilton Little Rock West
Home2 Suites Little Rock West is an extended stay hotel that is convenient to all the west Little Rock shopping and restaurants. It is located just off I-430 and only minutes away from I-30 and I-630.
This is an all-suite hotel that also provides a free breakfast with a selection of hearty and healthy items.
The fitness and laundry facilities are integrated together. They cutely call this space Spin2Cycle and you can easily throw in a load of laundry and work out while it washes. There is also an indoor pool and the Oasis lounge.
Best For Extended Stay Downtown: Homewood Suites by Hilton Little Rock Downtown
The Homewood Suites by Hilton Little Rock Downtown is located in the vibrant River Market district of Little Rock and near many popular attractions in town.
You will be close to the business heart of Little Rock as well as in walking distance of downtown dining, shopping and nightlife.
This is an extended stay hotel with one-bedroom or two-bedroom suites, free wi-fi and flat-screen TVs. The living and sleeping areas are separated and the kitchen is fully equipped.
A full breakfast is included in your stay.

For Those Looking for Affordability in West Little Rock: Tru by Hilton Little Rock West
Tru by Hilton Little Rock West is an affordable and newer hotel that is right off of I-30 and I-430 near the Outlets of Little Rock and the Bass Pro Shop. It is also right next door to Movie Tavern which is a theater with a bar and food options.
You will find drinks, gourmet snacks and single-serve wine and beer in the 24/7 market. They also have a game area that is well-stocked with board games, playing cards, and a pool table.
There is a business center and sound-absorbing alcoves which are great for getting work done.
Tru by Hilton offers affordable travel done right.
Near the Clinton Presidential Center: Hampton Inn & Suites Little Rock Downtown
This Hampton Inn & Suites is located right in the River Market District of downtown Little Rock. It is within walking distance to the Clinton Presidential Library as well as shopping, dining and entertainment venues.
Enjoy free WiFi and breakfast before heading out into the River Market where you can also take a downtown trolley tour, do a little shopping, or take a walk along the riverfront.
Best For Families: Comfort Inn & Suites Presidential
Kids will love the outdoor pool at the Comfort Inn & Suites Presidential and the fact that the hotel is so close to the Museum of Discovery and the playgrounds on the Riverfront.
Parents will love the premium bedding, the signature free breakfast, and convenience of being located within walking distance of the great downtown shops and restaurants.
The staff at this hotel receive rave reviews for being both friendly and helpful.
Not only that but the Comfort Inn & Suites Presidential also has a free shuttle service to downtown attractions.
Close to the Airport: Holiday Inn Little Rock Airport
Before you choose to be close to the Clinton National Airport do be aware that there is not much near the airport other than, well, the airport.
However, if you have an early flight and really need to be nearby then you should stay at the Holiday Inn Little Rock Airport.
It is only 1 mile from the airport with a free shuttle! Plus this hotel also has an outdoor pool, a fitness center, and an on-site restaurant with a bar.
Looking for Comfort and a Rooftop Bar: Hilton Garden Inn Little Rock Downtown
Hilton Garden Inn Little Rock Downtown is in the heart of the River Market District near all the downtown attractions. It is also near restaurants, breweries, shopping, and the new Arkansas Art Center.
You will definitely want to experience their rooftop bar and outdoor patio which has views over downtown Little Rock.
You can exercise anytime in the 24-hour fitness centre or work anytime in the 24-hour business center.
More Information About Little Rock
There are two areas of Little Rock where most travelers stay; downtown Little Rock and west Little Rock. Both are centers of business with shopping, restaurants, and attractions.
Most of the hotels on this list are in one of those two areas. The only one that isn’t is the Four Points by Sheraton which is in midtown.
Midtown is near some of the area hospitals, the University mall, and the Heights and Hillcrest neighborhoods which have some of the best restaurants in town.
The downtown hotels are almost all in an area called the River Market district.
This is an entertainment district with fun shops and excellent restaurants. You will also find the William J Clinton Presidential Library, the Children’s Museum of Discovery, and the old State House as well as many other attractions.
You may also want to visit the new Arkansas Museum of Fine Arts (formerly known as the Arkansas Arts Center).
Another fun thing to do in downtown Little Rock is to stroll Riverfront Park which is filled with monuments and artwork.
If you stay in the River Market you will only be a short drive from SOMA. This stands for South Main.
SOMA is an up and coming neighborhood. It is the location of Rock Town Distillery as well as the Esse Purse Museum, Loblolly Creamery and some great restaurants. This includes one of favorite restaurants in town, The Root!
Although I have not included any North Little Rock hotels on this list, if you stay in one of the downtown hotels you are also very close to the attractions in North Little Rock such as Simmons Bank Arena (formerly Verizon Arena), the Dickey Stephens baseball park and the Argenta neighborhood.
Not only that but you can either make the short drive to North Little Rock or take the downtown trolley!
When you stay in west Little Rock you are near some great areas for hiking and outdoor recreation. If you really want a work out you can climb Pinnacle Mountain at Pinnacle Mountain State Park.
We also love the William Kirsch Preserve which is really a hidden gem. Many locals don’t even know about it!
Two Rivers Park is another incredible place for a walk or to go biking in west Little Rock.
