Festivals in Arkansas in March

Although the weather can be a bit rainy in March, it is typically beginning to warm up. The jonquils are the first sign of spring and are blooming by the first days of the month.

Here are some of the Arkansas Festivals that are held in March.

Wye Mountain Daffodil Festival (Wye Mountain)

This is a small spring festival in Arkansas that happens to be one of my personal favorites.

Daffodils spill down a hillside near a stone church in the community of Wye Mountain. The festival is small, simple, and sweet. The daffodils are a perfect place to take Easter photos.

Little Rock Marathon (Little Rock)

Maybe some wouldn’t consider a marathon a festival, but we decided to include it because it is such an important spring event in Arkansas. There are several different races including a Kids Marathon. The Little Rock Marathon is a qualifying event for the Boston Marathon.

Here are some more fun things to do in Little Rock!
