Beautiful Treehouse Cabins in Arkansas

In the Trees (Hot Springs)

In the Trees is a luxurious treehouse resort in the spa town of Hot Springs. We have stayed several times since they opened and it is still one of our favorite properties.

They have a wide variety of treehouses. Some are perfect for couples, others for friend groups or families, and even a few for larger groups such as a bachelorette party or a business team retreat.

The structures are modern and stunning. They sit perched on a hillside with lovely Ouachita Mountains views. Best of all each one has a large deck with a hot tub and a fire pit. There is plenty of outdoor space to relax and listen to the forest around you.

The interiors are just as impressive from the gorgeous floor-to-ceiling windows and the gourmet kitchens, to the comfortable king-sized beds with luxury linens and the heated bathroom floors.

You will love your stay at In the Trees.

Starlight Haven (Hot Springs)

There are even more amazing treehouses in Hot Springs!

At Starlight Haven you will find a collection of treehouses situated along a year-round creek in the Ouachita Mountains, yet only a few minutes from downtown Hot Springs.

The treehouses at Starlight Haven are extremely comfortable with excellent beds and nice outdoor living spaces. There are porch swings and hot tubs on the raised decks overlooking the babbling creek.

This property also has geodesic domes set on raised platforms and glamping tents which you might enjoy.

Which Hot Springs treehouse should you choose? In the Trees a polished and very luxurious stay with mountain views, full kitchens and modern design. Starlight Haven has a cozier, more rustic feel.

Planning a trip to Hot Springs? It is one of our favorite Arkansas cities. Here are some posts that might help you plan your trip!

Whitetail and Pine (Farmington)

We truly loved our stay at Whitetail and Pine in Farmington, Arkansas. This is a luxury treehouse experience for a couple. Although it is close to town it is set on a wooded property with a babbling creek.

My favorite part was the wood-fired hot tub on the balcony overlooking the creek and woods. It was so lovely and romantic. There is also a full bath with a huge bathtub.

Upstairs, the bedroom includes a hammock beside a beautiful round window that frames the trees.

Stargazing Planetarium Treehouse (Springdale, near Beaver Lake)

The Stargazing Planetarium Treehouse is one of the most unusual treehouses we have ever stayed in!

The property was created as part of Airbnb’s worldwide OMG! Fund competition, and the design definitely lives up to the name. The main living area is inside a geodesic dome with a star projector that transforms the ceiling into an indoor planetarium.

A separate observatory tower has a clear domed ceiling and telescopes for viewing the night sky. We especially loved how the entire experience was designed around stargazing.

The treehouse can accommodate up to five guests, making it a fun option for a couple, a small family or a getaway with friends. It is located in a quiet area near Beaver Lake but is still within driving distance of Springdale, Fayetteville, Rogers and Bentonville.

This is a great choice for anyone who wants a treehouse stay that feels imaginative and completely different from a traditional cabin.

Toucan Treehouse (Arkadelphia)

Toucan Treehouse, located near Arkadelphia, Arkansas, is one of the most unique of the treehouse cabins in Arkansas. It is a jungle-themed treehouse that will make you feel as if you are living in a Swiss Family Robinson paradise.

It sleeps up to 5 guests, making it a good option for families. I think children would love this one!

The grounds are beautiful with many fun things to explore and enjoy. You will find a series of nature trails that lead to unexpected surprises like pirate ships or a lost temple.

A stay at the Toucan Treehouse is a magical experience for a family!

The tropical toucan treehouse is one of the best treehouse cabins in Arkansas. It is a magical place for families.

Sacred Pines Tree House (Mena)

Sacred Pines is a good choice for travelers who want more of a “glamping” experience. Maybe you are like me and want to feel immersed in nature without giving up air-conditioning, a private bathroom and other basic comforts.

We stayed in the Wyldkin Treehouse. It was beautifully situated overlooking the woods and a pond.

Although it can sleep 4, I felt that this particular treehouse was better suited for a couple. However, there are two other treehouses on the property that are larger.

This was a great getaway that allowed us to be out in nature and away from everyday stresses. It is about 20 – 25 minutes from the charming Ouachita Mountain town of Mena which means it is also about 20 – 25 minutes from the nearest grocery store so you might want to plan ahead!

Stoneflower Cottage (Near Greers Ferry Lake)

Some people describe Stoneflower Cottage as a cross between a treehouse and a cave. It is surrounded by native Arkansas stone on the bottom level but then soars into the sky and has elevated decks and walkways on the upper level.

The most interesting thing about Stoneflower Cottage is that it was designed by Arkansas native and famous architect E. Fay Jones. In fact, it was constructed years before his most famous work, Thorncrown Chapel in Eureka Springs.

You can definitely see the resemblance between the two structures!

This would be a perfect stay for anyone who loves architecture or unique properties.

The Original Treehouse Cottages (Eureka Springs)

These treehouse cabins in Arkansas are located in Eureka Springs only minutes from the historic downtown area.

There are seven treehouses to choose from all offering “luxury in the trees.” These treehouses are spread between two different locations. The “in town” location has three treehouses with queen-size beds. Only a mile away at the “hidden forest” location are four more treehouses with king-size beds.

These are definitely meant for a romantic getaway. They are set high in the trees, accommodate two guests and include jetted tubs – some of which are heart-shaped.

Enchanted Treehouses (Eureka Springs)

The Enchanted Treehouses are located only a few minutes from downtown Eureka Springs. However, because they are located on 52 private acres you will feel as if you have gotten away from it all.

These are luxurious, adults-only treehouses designed for two guest. They are all named after fairy tales and feel just as enchanted as their names. The decor is a charming mix of old and new and everything is so comfortable.

All the treehouses include king-sized beds with quality linens, a romantic fireplace and jetted tubs.

Canyon View Treehouse (Jasper)

Photos don’t do the view from The Canyon View Treehouse justice. You will just have to see it to believe it.

Located near the Ozark Mountain town of Jasper, Arkansas, the Canyon View Treehouse hovers on stilts on the edge of the mountain overlooking the valley below.

There is an expansive and comfortable deck which gives you a beautiful spot to enjoy the view with your morning cup of coffee.

This cabin is what I would call rustic-modern. It has amazing details and is so comfortable with some perfect amenities such as a luxury bath and rainfall shower.

This is a great choice for a family retreat or a getaway with a small group of friends as it sleeps 8 people.

Tip: You will want to get up early to watch the sunrise over the mountains.

Treehouses at Hog Valley RV Resort (Fayetteville)

The Hog Valley RV Resort also has three private treehouses on their property. They are Kendra’s Kabin and Keaton’s Hideout and Brandon’s Bungalow.

The treehouses are different sizes, but all are clean and cozy and in a great location, just one exit away, for those planning to attend a Razorback game. They are also near Devil’s Den State Park.

Even though they are in an RV park you will find that the treehouses feel secluded. Best of all, when you stay here, you get access to all the amenities of the RV park including a swimming pool and pickleball courts.

The Painted Bird (De Queen)

The Painted Bird is a treehouse cabin located near the city of De Queen in southwest Arkansas. It is nestled in the woods on a quiet country road.

This is a small and super clean cabin with so much attention to detail. There is a full kitchen indoors along with a wonderful outdoor kitchen and expansive porch furnished for amazing outdoor living.

In fact, everything about this Arkansas treehouse is cozy and inviting!

This treehouse is in a region that calls itself the “Land of the Lakes,” but there are also several rivers in the area such as the Cossatot and the Rolling Fork River. It is also near Beaver’s Bend State Park in Oklahoma.

In other words, there are plenty of opportunities for boating, fishing, and other outdoor recreation near this great Arkansas treehouse.

Crockett’s Escape Treehouse (Greers Ferry Lake)

Crockett’s Escape Treehouse is located on a hill above Greers Ferry Lake and has amazing views both from the beautiful deck and from the jetted two-person bathtub that is set in a windowed niche!

There is also a sleeping loft. However, because the bathtub and main bed are open to the living area, I think this treehouse is best suited for a couple. Don’t worry, there is a separate bathroom!

Sunset on the deck of this treehouse is the perfect place to unwind!

One thing to note is that there is also a Crockett’s Escape Cabin on the same property. The cabin is slightly larger and will sleep a few more people but it is not a treehouse.

Treehouse Retreats (Mountain View)

There are two wonderful treehouse retreats near the town of Mountain View. The 87 Getaway Treehouse sleeps up to six guests, making it the perfect place to disconnect from your busy life and reconnect with your loved ones.

Two beds are in a loft that requires a climb up a ladder so I think that it would that be better for older children.

Getaway 9 is another wonderful and secluded Arkansas treehouse. It has a king bed on the main floor of the treehouse with a queen bed in the loft. Again, the loft is accessible only by a ladder.

Both treehouses are thoughtfully designed for complete relaxation. You will particularly love the luxurious bathrooms with jetted tubs. Both also have gorgeous outdoor living spaces with porch swings, rocking chairs, and fire pits.

Choose 87 Getaway if you need space for a larger family. Getaway 9 may be a better choice for a couple or smaller family because it has a king-size bed on the main level.

Getaway 9 is a wonderful Arkansas treehouse located near the quaint town of Mountain View.
