Arkansas Department of Parks, Heritage and Tourism (ADPHT) Social Media Contest Rules
 
1. THE CONTEST. Arkansas Tourism (a division of ADPHT), Emily Manasco (Somewhere in Arkansas), and In The Trees Resort (the “sponsors”) are giving away a 2-night stay in a luxury treehouse at In The Trees Resort in Hot Springs!
 
2. THE ENTRY PERIOD. The entry period for this contest will begin at 6pm CDT on 7/28/24 and end at 6pm CDT on 8/4/24.
 
3. HOW TO ENTER. To enter, like the entry post, follow the Arkansas Tourism Instagram account (@arkansas), Somewhere in Arkansas (@somewhere.in.arkansas), and In The Trees Resort (@inthetrees). Tag a friend in the comments for an additional entries.
 
4. ELIGIBILITY. This Instagram contest is open to anyone over the age of 21 who resides in the contiguous U.S. (48 states plus the District of Columbia) and submits a valid entry during the entry period. Employees of ADPHT and their families are prohibited from winning this contest. 
 
5. PRIZE WINNER SELECTION. Winner will be chosen at random from all valid entries. Winner will be contacted via Instagram Direct Message after a grand prize winner is selected. Once contacted, the winner has two (2) days to claim their prize. If a winner does not claim the prize after 48 hours, another winner will be randomly selected, and so on until prize is awarded.
 
6. PRIZES. The winner will receive a 2-night stay in a luxury treehouse at In The Trees Resort in Hot Springs. Estimated Value is $950.
 
7. PRIZE LIMITATIONS. Contest prizes are awarded in “as is” condition. Prizes may not be substituted for another or monetary value. 
 
8. RELEASE. To the fullest extent permitted by law, in exchange for the opportunity to enter and participate in the competition and win the prize, you (for yourself), your heirs, next of kin, administrators and executors forever waive, release and hold harmless (“RELEASE”) any and all rights, claims, damages, liabilities, costs, attorneys’ fees, expenses and causes of action whatsoever (“CLAIMS”) that you may have against the sponsor, the giveaway vendors and suppliers, its affiliates, employees and agents, vendors and suppliers, the judges, prize providers, and each of their respected related entities (the “RELEASED PARTIES”), and each such released parties’ officers, directors, employees and agents. This release covers, without limitation, any claims arising directly or indirectly out of your entry into and participation in the giveaway, your status as an entrant, finalist, and/or potential and/or actual winner, and/or use or non-use of prize and includes, without limitation, claims based on personal injury, death, property damage, libel, slander, defamation, invasion of privacy/publicity, portrayal in false light and any claim relating to the sponsor hereunder. Further, you hereby release the released parties from any third-party intellectual property claims arising from or in connection with your entry. This RELEASE survives the expiration of the competition. 
 
9. PUBLICITY. Except where prohibited, participation in the contest constitutes your consent to the Sponsor’s use of your name, likeness, voice, opinions, biographical information, hometown and state for promotional purposes in perpetuity in any media, worldwide, without further payment or consideration to you and without obtaining any prior approvals. 
 
10. INSTAGRAM DISCLOSURE. This promotion is in no way sponsored, endorsed or administered by, or associated with, Instagram. You understand that you are providing your information to the Organizers and not to Instagram. The information you provide will only be used as outlined above in the PUBLICITY section.
