It has taken a lot of delicious research to compile this list because Little Rock has a plethora of amazing hamburgers.

11 Best Burgers in Little Rock

This list of the best burgers in Little Rock is NOT in any particular order! We tried, but just couldn’t rank them!

It is also possible that we haven’t tried your favorite! Be sure and let us know of any that you think we might have missed!

Copper Grill

One of my favorite burgers in town is at Copper Grill. This is a downtown restaurant that also has a great patio for when the weather is pretty. It feels as if you are in a backyard in the middle of town.

Their Signature Sweet Hot Burger is truly a flavor explosion. It has candied bacon, pimento cheese, sriracha, bacon jam, and arugula. It’s a huge burger with two juicy patties. In our opinion it has a perfect balance of sweet and savory and spicy.

There are lots of other great dishes on the menu at Copper Grill and they also have a nice bar and delicious cocktails.

The Root Cafe

The Root Cafe has some of the best food in town as well as one of the best burgers. We also adore their brunch.

This burger is all about quality ingredients! They use locally sourced beef and bread and you can really taste the difference!

Try the pimento cheese burger if you are feeling especially decadent. We also think that they have some of the best fries in town. They have both regular fries and sweet potato fries. If you can’t choose just order a combo with both!

They are two Root locations. The original is in SOMA and the newer location is at Breckenridge Village in Little Rock.

Leo’s Greek Castle

Leo’s is a great little place in the Heights area of Little Rock with a delicious burger. It is really a Little Rock tradition!

One of the things that makes Leo’s special is their house made Greek seasoning which takes their dishes to a different level.

The Leo Burger is a double patty delight dripping with American cheese, pickle, lettuce, tomato. It’s a bit on the greasy side, but in the best way possible. Plus, their fries are killer too.

This is a great, friendly neighborhood spot!

K. Hall and Sons

This is one of our favorites! In fact, Emily’s husband, Daniel says that in his opinion this is THE burger to try in town. It’s the one he craves when a burger craving hits.

K Hall is not a sit-down restaurant. It is a market that has great produce and other groceries as well as delicious home-cooked food to take out.

You might be eating your burger in your car, but it is SO worth it!

The cheeseburgers here have juicy hand-formed patties that are seasoned and cooked just right. Take my advice and get the jumbo and expect to get deliciously messy.

K Hall is also famous for their lemonade and fruit punch drinks! You’ve got to try those as well!

Rosie’s Pot and Kettle Cafe

Rosie’s Pot and Kettle is a woman-owned business named after “Rosie the Riveter.” They are open for breakfast and lunch and known for homestyle cooking.

Rosie’s offers a delightful cheeseburger featuring a 1/3 lb. local beef patty from Leis Creek Cattle Co., cooked to order.

Topped with mayo, lettuce, tomato, pickles, and red onion, it’s a classic burger experience served with a side of French fries or tater tots.

The welcoming atmosphere and friendly service make this place a favorite among locals. Oh, and they also serve an excellent breakfast!

Plus the restaurant is located at the front of a flight facility near the Bill and Hillary Clinton Airport so you might get to see some airplanes taxiing or taking off.

The Croissanterie

You might not think of a place that specializes in croissants as the best place for a burger. But think again.

The Croissanterie absolutely has one of our favorite burgers in Little Rock.

This is a unique smash burger because it is served on a delicious toasted croissant style bun. This creates a twist that’s both buttery and delicious.

As you might imagine this double patty burger with cheese and grilled onions is juicy and rich and so, so delectable.

Of course, you also need to take home one of their almond croissants!

Smashed and Stacked

If you’re a fan of smash burgers, this food truck is a must-visit.

Their burgers are perfectly seared and stacked high with your choice of toppings. If you like to try a burger with creative toppings you will definitely want to check out their monthly specials.

Smashed and Stacked is located in a stationary food truck in the Pettway section of downtown Little Rock. There are some shaded outdoor table to hang out while you wait and eat.

I also recommend their fries!

The Box

The Box has been around since 1948 and, in our opinion, still serves some of the best burgers and fries in Little Rock!

Don’t go here thinkin’ that you are going to get a fancy burger.

Instead, at The Box you should expect to find an old-fashioned, deliciously greasy, and nostalgic throw-back burger.

Supposedly they have been using the same griddle for decades – so I imagine that it is perfectly seasoned.

Ferndale Market

The Ferndale Market is one of the newest places on this list and they have come right out of the gate with an incredible new burger.

Ferndale Market is a Farmer’s Market which opened way out in west Little Rock. You will love their local produce, specialty items, and hot take home food.

However, they also serve a small sandwich menu at lunch which includes their Oklahoma Onion Burger….and this smash burger is an absolutely delight!

The ground beef patty is smashed with shaved white onion and then served on a toasted and steamed bun with melty American cheese, pickles, and mustard. It is SO good.

I highly recommend giving this new Little Rock burger a try!

DeLuca’s Pizzeria

DeLuca’s Pizzeria has been in Hot Springs for years, but they recently opened a Little Rock location in Breckenridge Village in Little Rock.

While rightfully renowned for their amazing pizzas, You might be surprised to learn that Deluca’s also crafts a burger that’s pretty spectacular.

The secret of this burger is the meat. This hamburger patty is made from a special blend that owner of DeLuca’s (who happens to be a native New Yorker) has shipped to Arkansas from a butcher in Brooklyn.

The toppings on this burger aren’t fancy and they don’t need to be because of the wonderful flavor of the actual burger! .
