I mentioned the Skylark Cafe and their famous and delectable strawberry pie. Another popular seasonal strawberry dish is the strawberry shortcake at the Bulldog Restaurant in Bald Knob.

The strawberries are served over the diner’s soft serve ice cream along with the BEST flaky and delicious shortbread cookies. It is different than a traditional shortcake and so, so good.

We HIGHLY recommend giving it a try!

We also LOVE the strawberry shortcake at Trio’s Restaurant in Little Rock! SO delicious.
